"As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish... so is My word that goes out from My mouth:  it will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."  Isaiah 55:10-11

Tim and Tonya Vennell are missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship. They have 5 children, Lauren, Lydia, Natalie, Courtney, and Carson. They have finished two terms, serving in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Lesotho. They are now serving in Kenya. A special verse for them is found in Psalms 118:24. “This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Tim shares, “I have a hard time remembering to rejoice at all times. This verse helps me to remember that each day is truly from the Lord.”

Tim and Tonya enjoy their service for the Lord with MAF, helping other missionaries accomplish what God has called them to do. They also enjoy building relationships in the community and local church with the nationals.

Cari is our very own missionary from WCB. She is the daughter of Terry & Karen Logan.

Cari is following God's call and has just accepted the assignment of In-Country Program Director for the Raining Season in Sierra Leone. She will be working with the local churches and organizations to feed, house, educate, nurture and support the children and families of this country. The goal is to give the children the opportunity to be children instead of struggling to feed and cloth their brothers and sisters, to be a part of giving mothers a chance to provide for their families and not face another day wondering if the best option is to give their child up, and to see the Kingdome of God grow and flourish in Cari's life and those around her.
